10 SUPER-FOODS ON A SUPER-TIGHT BUDGET

http://www.wholefoodshouse.com.au/recipe-polenta-with-bacon-boiled-eggs/

I'm on a roll of late trying to really simplify bloody good eating for those who have no clue - and I don't mean that in a derogatory sense... I have no clue about plumbing and so I ask for help. The thing with food is, we all have to eat so it pays to know a little about it.

If you're trying to vamp up what goes in your mouth but don't have a lot of cashola to splurge with right now, I'm gonna give you my top 10 bang-for-your-buck foods that will not break the bank whatsoever.

THE SECRET TO EATING WELL EVERYDAY

http://buildipedia.com/at-home/kitchen/building-a-healthy-kitchen

For me, it's a given that good food will always be in my house; in the pantry and in the fridge. Fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts, seeds, herbals, filtered water, coconut water, essential fats, fish, meat, eggs... So it goes without saying that when I'm hungry, if I open the fridge to see rocket and spinach, tomato, walnuts and left over lamb... I might easily throw all that in a bowl for lunch.

What isn't a given, is assuming everyone's house is the same. Clients and customers at the shop namely; the people who want my advice. And this was no more truer for me to realise than last week when I opened up my fridge to something I don't usually see in there.

CHOOSING FOR YOU

http://ronnijean.com/2013/07/04/275-days-of-choosing-me/

Lately I've noticed (with big thanks to the man in my life) that little by little I've been choosing more for myself  in life. Not for others;  for myself. Now this might come across a little stubborn, or mediocre, but I can tell you that it's actually been quite challenging - a testiment to how much I wasn't choosing for myself previously.

MAKING LIFE EASIER, HAPPIER, BETTER FOR ADRENAL FATIGUE

http://www.homelifesimplified.com.au/an-epic-list-of-50-ideas-to-start-taking-care-of-yourself/
When faced with adrenal fatigue, but for a long while not really knowing what it was, the severity of it, what to do about it... it's easy to keep on doing what you've always done, which of course is what got you to where you are in the first place. Once you then come to terms with it all, you go about trying to figure it all out on your own, or seek professional help. Either way there's quite often a long time in and out of sessions, buying multiple supplements, trial-and-error-ing just about everything.

So I wanted to shed some light on a few strange things that made my life easier, better, happier, or even just a bit nicer, whilst dealing with adrenal fatigue myself.

EXHAUSTED AND REACHING FOR MORE COFFEE... READ THIS

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1163982/The-exhaustion-epidemic-How-stop-feeling-tired-weeks--But-worn-read-this.html

Coffee. Friend or Foe? I elaborated on that one back here if you want to read more. But I wanted to touch specifically on coffee consumption if you are experiencing adrenal fatigue, severe stress, chronic fatigue, or exhaustion this time around.

I played with coffee consumption a lot the past 2 years with adrenal fatigue, and by that I mean I drank it, I didn't, I did, I didn't... I drank it to play around with spiking cortisol levels in the morning, and every other day I stuck it up my bum (and just realised I'm yet to really explain coffee enemas to you so my apologies... I'll get there one day). So what do I think now?

DOING WHAT YOUR BODY LOVES FIRST IS KEY TO GETTING EVERYTHING ELSE DONE

For the past few days I've been busting my own chops to finish up some research for a blog post I wanted up by today. I've probably got it all there I just need to read it and put it into logical sentences that are easy to understand - as translating biochemistry into laymans terms is a job I need to do for myself, and therefore you get the off shoots of it; health mumbo-jumbo into words you get.

The reason I'm telling you all this is because I've realised that it's only actually been this afternoon I've felt like writing - not the past few days - and there's one reason for it.

WHAT I'VE LEARNT ABOUT ADRENAL FATIGUE THAT HASN'T COME OUT OF A BOOK

http://kerrybelviso.com/heal-my-adrenal-fatigue-course-outline-and-all-the-experts/

Experience is worth so much more than any book could ever teach us. But it's when we're in the midst of these "teachings" that we wish we weren't, and only after the fact, we can clearly see that the book/s barely touched the sides of the issue.

Adrenal fatigue is said issue for me.

Don't get me wrong here - I've learnt loads from books, research, college, lecturers, Naturopaths, friends, and more that I possibly wouldn't have learnt elsewhere. But having been through it all myself, I've learnt, more than all these taught me put together. And for that, I am forever grateful.
