A QUESTION OPENS POSSIBILITIES. A STATEMENT CONCLUDES THEM. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?

I'm fat

I'm tired

I'm hopeless

I'm not good enough

Or whatever it is for you. These all conclude and concrete into both our conscious and subconscious mind, that they are in fact real. Truth. And that there's no budging from them. When we continue to say and think such statements, day by day they become more real and we end up living out these thoughts. Even if they are not real.

Then there's the other side ~ When we ask a question, there is no concrete, no conclusion, and thus an unlimited openness to possibilities. Think about it ~ instead of saying I'm soooo tired, what if we could pose a question and simply ask What would it take for me to feel energised right now?

It doesn't need to be answered - in fact quite the opposite. In asking a question and not jumping in to answer it, anything is possible. Truly.

What would it take for me to be my ideal weight?

What would it take for me to have endless energy everyday?

What would it take for the cash I need to fly to mums show up in my life?

I'll give you a few personal examples:

Too many times, I've calculated my hourly wage x the numbers of hours I will work in a week, to know how much money I will have to spend on rent, groceries, etc and whether or not I'll have anything left to buy that birthday present for my girlfriend.

$20/hour x 15 hours = $300.
Rent = $150
Food = $100
Petrol = $30
Left with = $20. Crap.

This my dear is conclusion. It can be out of habit or fear, but it doesn't need to be the way you function forever.

When I ask a question though, What would it take for more money to show up in my life now? anything is possible. My parentals might transfer me some money as a kind gesture. I might sell a bunch of ebooks unexpectedly. I might get a call to fill in a last minute shift. Perhaps a new client calls and wants to see me now. Or my girlfriend goes away and I've got another week up my sleeve to get her something gorgeous.

That supposed $20 I had could turn out to be $80, $180, $1800. Who knows? But if I stay open to the possibility of more money showing up in my life, that's when it truly can. That's the sweet spot, and where the magic happens.

The same goes with your energy levels, better digestion, clearer skin, improved health, and awesome sleep.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So try for today, and then for this week, to catch yourself out every time you utter a conclusive statement aloud. And turn it into a question instead.

TRY THIS: Make a few notes of what keeps coming up for you like a broken record and write ways to turn them around ~

For me, it's long been "I'm exhausted"
Well... What would it take for me to have energy everyday to do the things I love?

I would love to hear how you go with this.
